Welcome!
Welcome to my home page. I am a staff lecturer of the Departamento de Astrofísica of the Universidad de La Laguna and an astronomer of the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias. As member of both institutions, I am engaged in lectures in Astrophysics and in astrophysical research. I develop my research via my tasks as Principal Investigator of several international Research and Development projects, while my lectures include the subjects of Cosmology and Extragalactic Astronomy.
A brief description of my research and teaching interests and activities can be found in the links of the left menu. I am sorry, but the information related with the subjects of my lectures and my textbook on Cosmology is in Spanish only (or: I am sorry but the information related with my research activity is in English only).
